Anastasia Aukeman will discuss her new book "Welcome to Painterland: Bruce Conner and the Rat Bastard Protective Association" chronicling the close-knit community of artists living in San Francisco's Fillmore neighborhood in the 1960s. Many of these artists are featured in di Rosa's current the exhibition "Based on a True Story: Highlights from the di Rosa Collection," including Joan Brown, Bruce Conner, Jay DeFeo, Wally Hedrick, and Manuel Neri.
