Victoria Gannon

Victoria Gannon is a writer and editor living in Oakland. She has worked in this capacity for newspapers, websites, publishers, museums, arts organizations, and individuals. A 2008 graduate of the Visual and Critical Studies program at California College of the Arts, she was a 2012–2013 affiliate artist in writing at Headlands Center for the Arts. Her writing has been published on SFMOMA OpenSpace, KQED Arts, and Art 21, among other outlets. After a brief foray into UX writing and “content strategy,” she is now happily ensconced as an editor working on physical books at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. In her spare time, she chairs the Adams Point Basset Society, an unaffiliated, unrecognized, ad hoc organization of basset hound enthusiasts.
