Ana Tuazon

Ana Tuazon is a filipinx writer, arts organizer, and current MA/PhD student in Art History and Criticism at Stony Brook University. Her research centers on the body as a site for decolonial performativity in feminist art and considers artmaking as a practice of political engagement and resistance. She recently co-curated the inaugural Southeast Queens Biennial through art nonprofit No Longer Empty’s curatorial lab. She has presented at conferences including the College Art Association and Theorizing the Web and has previously written for Temporary Art Review, Hyperallergic, Art Practical, and Art F City.
