Namita Gupta Wiggers

Namita Gupta Wiggers is an independent curator, educator, and writer based in Portland, OR. She is the Director and Co-Founder of Critical Craft Forum, and teaches in MFA Applied Craft + Design, a joint program of Oregon College of Art and Craft and Pacific Northwest College of Art. From 2004-2014, Wiggers served as Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Craft, and as Director and Chief Curator from 2012-14. Current projects include: Across the Table, Across the Land, a collaboration with Michael Strand celebrating the 50th anniversary of NCECA (National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts); a maker-space project for the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, Miami; and lectures/programming for the 2015 Studio Art Quilt Associates and Surface Design Association Annual Conferences.
