In Episode 4 of what are you looking at? Jay and Elena go in deep, exploring in their version of Rock & Roll: Flesh, Sex, and Death. Using Angela Hennessy’s recent solo exhibition When & Where I Enter, as a portal into Blackness, bodies, and black matter, the two dive head first into the work of multimedia artists Sondra Perry and Jacolby Satterwhite. And in true Black History Month fashion, Elena and Jay lament the black hole of the American public education system.
